An important part of the fruit sale is distribution day, when many Rotarians turn out between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. to hand off the fruit to the buyers.
Among the "insiders" who checked off the buyers as they came to pick up their fruit, were (from left) Faith Woodward, Patty Jefferis, Mickey Hall, new member Debby Ferry, and (not pictured) Cathy Palmquist. Coordination of the sale, and the distribution were again handled by Christine Wildauer, our very competent fruit sale chair, for the past several years. A number of other Rotarians helped with the distribution Saturday, including Gary Hess, Brad Abel and Bill Friedmann, who guided buyers into the covered dock.
Jeannie McGinn, Matt Holliday, Fran Curtin, Rob Malone, Jim Gasho, Jim Lees, Steve Founds, and others helped load the fruit. The fruit distribution day is always a time of work and fellowship, something Rotarians do well together!
