Michelle Venema and Andrew Stump were the designers and producers of our club's entry in the Borough of West Chester's annual Christmas Parade.
Having not participated in the parade itself for a number of years - we've decorating flagpoles, provided parade marshals and such previously - this year Michelle and Andrew spearheaded the float project which turned out to be a prize-winning vision!
With the help of several other Rotarians, Linda Hicks loaned them a wagon, Bill Friedmann and Blue Dog printed the simple but impressive lettering and signage that was featured on the wagon, and a team of decorators, including Jim Gasho, Mark Sammarone and Michael Karwic, assisted Michelle and Andrew. The result - our Rotary float won first place in the Non-profit Division! Rotary teamwork in action again!
