Among the 30 or so trees decorated by area organizations at the Chester County History Center is our club’s Rotary Around the World tree. Like last year, the History Center features its Season of Lights display, and we again accepted the invitation to participate. Our tree is festively covered with club banners from Rotary clubs around the world, which have been traded when our members have traveled and exchanged flags with other Rotaries. And again Glen Sweet, Phyllis Dunn and Sue Casso Rogers were our club “elves” who did the decorating, with Sue adding a special Rotary cap to the top of the tree and blanket underneath.
Participating in this community event helps us be even more visible to friends in the greater community, and shows the wide reach of Rotary around the world.
