One of the longest running traditions of the Rotary Club of West Chester is the Tuesday Before  Thanksgiving gathering at the Side Bar in the Borough of West Chester. This annual gathering seems to be the kick-off for the upcoming holiday season for club members as they gather to socialize before the numerous holiday events.

A special guest this year was a Rotarian from the Labowa Club who exchanged club flags with club President Catherine Friedman.

Shortly after this gathering, several members, under the creative leadership of Michelle Venema and Andrew Stump, decorated a large Rotary float for the upcoming Christmas parade. The week after the parade, members will ring bells for the Salvation Army, another longtime annual tradition, and the following week, members will gather with spouses and significant others for the annual holiday party.

More fun to come!
