Kenneth Ching (center), who recently graduated from Marple Newtown High School, visits with members of the Rotary Club of West Chester, Carol Hanson and Dr. Jim Scanlon, Superintendent of the West Chester Area School District, following an impressive presentation to, and question and answer session with the Rotarians. Ching, a member of his high school's Speech Club for the past two years, entered the Rotary District 7450 Four-Way Test speech competition, and was chosen the contest  winner with his talk about the upcoming Safe House Injection Site in the Kensington area of Philadelphia. In researching the safe injection site program, Ching determined that the program meets The Four-Way Test : it is the truth, it is fair to all concerned, it will build goodwill and better friendships, and it will be beneficial to all concerned. He presented his winning speech at the recent district conference, and was invited by Hanson to present it to the local Rotary club. Ching will attend the University of Pittsburgh in the fall, majoring in engineering.
